Our Story

Fabulous Fit®️ was founded by designer Jill Ralston, whose passion for sewing began at age six and grew into a successful career in fashion. After years of creating beautifully made garments for high-end boutiques, a life-changing hand injury led Jill to invent a faster, easier way to create clothes. Frustrated by the limitations of traditional dress forms, she developed a patented system of contoured pads that transform standard forms into realistic, customizable body shapes—giving rise to the Fabulous Fit®️ Fitting System in 1994. What began as a personal solution became a game-changing tool for designers, students, and brands worldwide.

In 2021, Fabulous Fit was acquired by The Shop Company (TSC), a leading manufacturer of professional and display dress forms. Known for their quality, innovation, and affordability, TSC brought new energy and resources to the Fabulous Fit line. In 2022, they launched a fully pinnable, curvy Global Standard Dress Form collection with expanded sizing to better represent a wider range of body types, and moved into a larger facility in New Jersey to support deeper inventory and faster fulfillment.

Today, we are proud to serve countless fashion brands, schools, and designers around the world. Although we have grown, we remain a small, dedicated team committed to delivering the highest quality products and customer service in the industry.
